2017-5-1 · Description. Returns a struct clk corresponding to the clock producer or valid IS_ERR condition containing errno. The implementation uses dev and id to determine the clock consumer and thereby the clock producer. (IOW id may be identical strings but clk_get may return different clock producers depending on dev.) Drivers must assume that the clock source is not enabled.

2018-8-8 · No it s not needed. The design goal of the managed resource API (the devm_ stuff) is to avoid calling unmap free etc. when a device is released either because of failure or removal. The devm_iounmap and similar is only there when you need to roll-back a previous call to devm_ioremap.

The devm_kzalloc() function has a 2-factor argument form devm_kcalloc(). This patch replaces cases of devm_kzalloc(handle a b gfp) with devm_kcalloc(handle a b gfp) as well as handling cases of devm_kzalloc(handle a b c gfp) with devm_kzalloc(handle array3_size(a b c) gfp) as it s slightly less ugly than devm_kcalloc(handle array_size(a b) c gfp) This does however
